Moving Update…

We are happy to announce that as of August 5th, we will have officially moved to SF!

Over the past month and half I have been scouting San Francisco to serve as our new headquarters, and this is one of the reasons why new productions and postings have been extremely light.

Furthermore, we have been slammed with putting together our Fall Production Schedule. All I have to say is that we got some ridiculously exciting things happening right around the corner, and we are pumped up to, borrowing from Gary V., bring the THUNDER!!!

Full Speed Ahead

The past 2 weeks have been quite light for openSermo productions. I could conjure up many excuses [ie. Graduation], but none of them make up for the fact we have let our community down. That being said, it should be noted we are now ‘Full Speed Ahead’ with upcoming productions. You should see a minimum of 3 WSYK’s per week and a few other special episodes as well as some In A Nutshell’s.

We do however hope you’ve been enjoying our published stream of News 2.0 from all over the internetz; it’s some of the best there is and we pledge to continue to find this great content and serve it up, only at openSermo.com.

Light Posting, Traveling

I am traveling this week and new openSermo production’s are going to be a bit light, until at least Tuesday. Definitely expect some face-to-face’s and of course videos from the internet’s best citizen journalists. Extremely sorry for the hiccup. We will be making up for it 10 fold in the following weeks. That’s a promise!

WSYK Has Landed

WSYK? What Should You Know, is a new broadcast hosted by Ethan Bloch, that will be produced throughout the week. The purpose is the same as with all of our other broadcasts: to educate and inform in an unconventional way.

And with WSYK, I think we’re definitely executing on this mission. It’s brash, to the point and informative. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

It should be noted that we got the inspiration for this show from our friend Clarence aka. DYKC, check’em out. First episode embedded below.

These are exciting times for openSermo, our headcount has grown 100% overnight, were headed to SXSW next week and the momentum is picking up.

60 Seconds “Set”

After a bit of thought and some advice from our community we decided to give 60 Seconds a real home and a real set. Pictures below. We think this gives it a more professional, while still staying casual, feel. And it also gives some visibility to the name of the production. Let us know your thoughts. Just in case you love our older tiled openSermo backdrop, don’t worry, it will still be used for openSermo Shorts as well as other upcoming productions.

Were still working out the kinks, as you can see from our most recent 60 Seconds broadcast. But hey! Were getting there, were getting there!

Anyways, stay tuned, we got some more exciting news around the corner.

P.S. openSermo will be at SXSW, email us if your going, and we’ll meet up.
